The ENDOMIN College is pleased to announce the “NEW GENERATION NEUROSURGICAL EDUCATION” in ENDOSCOPIC & MINIMAL INVASIVE NEUROSURGERY.
The curriculum consists of dissection courses in Berlin/Germany, advanced dissection courses in Budapest/Hungry, clinical observer (master) courses in Zurich/Switzerland and an international fellowship up to six months. NEW GENERATION means the new generation of trainees, having the opportunity to grow up with these techniques, as well as the new education concept, providing a stepwise, comprehensive and practically oriented training in cranial Neurosurgery. All events are approved by the Neuroendoscopy Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS).
The course in Hungary is designed for neurosurgeons with basic experience in using endoscopes for standard indications and interest in endoscopic and minimally invasive solutions for complex cases. Didactically presented solutions will be simulated during extensive hands-on dissections and observed during transmitted live-surgeries from distinct international experts. This and many practical hints will improve your endoscopic skills, shorten your learning curve and avoid unnecessary complications.
This event is offered in two complementary parts, which can be booked separately as well as in combination.
Part I is a low-cost theoretical event, hosted in Hungary`s legendary capital Budapest. International experts will present lectures on endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques in brain-, skull base and vascular neurosurgery as well as endoscopic ventricular and transnasal surgery.
Part II is hosted in the charming city Debrecen within the Hungarian “Puszta”. Here, a restricted number of participants will experience extensive hands-on dissections on fresh human cadavers and watch life-surgeries with detailed case discussions. Working on fresh human cadavers is a world-wide unique opportunity and an unforgettable experience, particularly offered for advanced users.
Having past this course you will be able to discuss latest technical and clinical advances in endoscopic & minimally invasive neurosurgery and use endoscopes for advanced indications in cranial neurosurgery. We are sure, that this will be a very exciting training course for you.

WHY THIS COURSE?
The two course directors, Professor Nikolai Hopf and Professor Robert Reisch have been pupils of Professor Axel Perneczky, pioneer of endoscopic and minimal invasive neurosurgery, and have been using endoscopic techniques since their very beginning of neurosurgical training. They have conducted 29 international courses only within the last seven years, teaching more than 500 international participants. They understand very well that integration of minimally invasive concepts into the daily surgical routine is not simple and requires a strong and stable strategy.
